In Acall Meeting, you can set detailed sound settings such as alarm function, announcement function, and sound source customization. The following explanation is based on the setting screen of Acall Meeting.

Sound settings can be set on the Acall Meeting application following to the steps in this page, or on Acall Portal.

Sound setting

Open sound setting screen

Tap the Settings button (gear icon) in the lower left corner of Acall Meeting and enter the passcode (device config key).

 Note
Please refer to "Set Device Config Keys" for more detail of how to check device config key.

Enter the device config key.

 

Tap [Sound Settings] to display the settings screen.

 

Announcement before end or cancelation of the meeting

In Announcement, check the [Availability] checkbox.

 

When to start the announcement

Tap the form and select the time (3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes).

 

Text

Only Japanese is supported, and uppercase and lowercase katakana alphanumeric characters, hiragana, and kanji can be read out loud

 

Role of sounds

Refers to the action on the app for the set sound.

 

Sound selection

Check or change the sound that will be played at the timing before the text is read aloud.

Touch the sound title to display a list of titles and make a selection.

 

Sound volume

Check or change the volume of the sound you have set.

Slide the black circle to the right to make the sound louder.

 

End of Meeting Alert

You can set end of meeting alert in Alarm setting.

Check

Tap the speaker icon to hear the sound you have set.

 

Minutes/% and unit

You can set the timing to sound an alert in the following two ways

1. When the unit is "% elapsed" (elapsed time)
   Alarm will sound when 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, or 100% of the scheduled meeting time has elapsed.
   Touch the form to make a selection.
2. When the unit is "minutes before" (remaining time)
   The alarm will go off 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, and 30 minutes before the end of the meeting.
   Touch the form to make a selection.

 

Sound Selection

You can check or change the sound set for an alert.

Tapping a sound title will display a list of titles for you to select.

 

Frequency (Times)

You can set up to 5 times, and touch the form to select.

 

Volume

You can check or change the volume of the selected sound.

Slide the black circle to the right to increase the volume.

 

Delete and add settings

Tap the trash can symbol to delete the corresponding setting.

Click [+ADD ALERT] to increase the number of alert settings by one.

 

Set up start / end sound

You can set end of meeting alert in Start / end sound setting.

Import sound files

NOTE
You need to save the sound file locally on your iPad or on iCloud.

Import operation and sound selection

When you touch the [Select File] button, the file selection screen will appear and you can select a sound file to import.

When the import is completed, the file name will be listed at the bottom as an imported file, and you can select it with "[Select Sound]" in all settings.

 

Deleting an imported file

You can delete the imported file by tapping the trash can symbol on the file.

 

How to set up sound

If you want to set the sound settings for all Acall Meeting iPad at once, please set up on Acall Portal.
