You can set rules such as "Allow reservations up to 120 minutes" or "Allow reservations 3 months in advance for reservations by using the "Reservation Policy" function.

This page describes how to set appointment/meeting room reservation rules.

 

 ATTENTION
This restriction is not applicable to workers with administrator or multi-tenant administrator permission.
You can make reservations without restrictions.

 ATTENTION
Customers who use the calendar integration function with the "Reservation on Outlook / Google Calendar" meeting room reservation method
cannot use "Reservation Policy" function.
It depends on the settings on Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.

 

Setting up reservation policy

Click [Settings] > [Company Setting] in the side menu of the Acall Portal.

You can restrict maximum duration and date limitation for reservations in the [Reservation Policy] section. 

Numbers that can be entered are as follows

Maximum Time Limit	15 minutes	1440 minutes	Off
Maximum Reservation Period	1 month	36 months	12 months

 

Click the [SAVE] button at the bottom of the screen to confirm the settings.

 

 NOTE
[Maximum Reservation Period] can be reserved in coming X months from now.
For example, if today is February 22nd, the following setting is available.
Set to 1 month → can reserve until March 22nd
Set to 2 months → can reserve until April 22nd

 

 

Example of the Maximum Time Limit

The Following example is a description of the limit when you set "Maximum 120 minutes".

• Reservation Screen on the Acall Portal 

You cannot select more the time limit when selecting time by drag & drop.

 

• New Reservation Screen on the Acall Portal

When you select the End time, you cannot exceed the time limit.

• Acall Meeting Immediate Use

When you enter time for coming MTGs, the available time is displayed.

 

• Create New Reservation screen on the Acall Mobile 

An error message will be displayed if you try to make a reservation that exceeds the time limit.

The following example is a description of the restriction on each screen when you set "Maximum 12 months".
